DC BU Alumni Team for the
DC Public Schools Beautification Day |
 |
August 20th, 2011
8:00am to 1:00pm
Amidon Elementary School
401 I (Eye) Street SW, Washington DC

Five years ago, BU DC alums headed to Amidon Elementary school to make the school a bit better through painting, gardening and general beautification. Join us on August 20th as we return to Amidon as part of DC Public Schools Beautification Day on August 20th. This annual event has helped "spruce up" all D.C. public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school.
To give DC students a great start to the school year, volunteers help with the following tasks: landscaping, trash pick-up, light painting, planting flowers, and other external beautification efforts.
